Abstract

|
Thin layer chromatographic separation and ultraviolet spetrophotometric determination of allethrin formulations.
A simple and rapid method for the determination of allethrin in some formulations has been developed using thin layer chromatographic separation and ultraviolet spectrophotometry.
Some samples were spotted to a silica gel plate and developed with n-hexane: ethylacete (3+1).
After elution with dioxane, allethrin was determeined by its absorbance at 243um.
Reliable resuts were obtained for some fomulations of allethrin.
